By someone some pigs...if they're asking for money to buy pigs...the probably can really use the pig. Sure, it's possible that they will default on your loan. So then you're out a whole $25. Worth the risk really. Plus...you can give people gift certificates...this is the perfect gift for those who don't really need anything (you know who you are). This will force the person to buy pigs. As you know, I've given this sort of present to those people (and yes I know who they are, especially in my own family) who really do NOT need anything. I think they're a good idea.
Recently, an animal activist friend tried to convince me that this sort of thing was a bad idea. I read all about the pros and cons...
After some thought, I still remain convinced that if a family needs money for pigs, it's still a good idea to give them a pig.
